Choza was born out of a genuine need: to continue and expand the collaborative work we've been doing for over eight years with artisans from all over Mexico. This is how our physical space—our Artisan Refuge—came to be, where we co-design and co-create pieces that reflect our identity as Mexicans.
Every object you find here is the result of a careful exploration of materials, colors, and techniques, crafted with deep respect for the rhythms of the earth and the unhurried process of true craftsmanship. We believe in quality, durability, and honoring natural processes. Working directly with the producers has also allowed us to guarantee fair prices—both for them and for those who value their craft.
From this space, we share with the world a glimpse into our traditions—past and present—brought together in one place. We want to continue growing this human network and reach more people who, like us, celebrate and honor our culture. We are also excited to be working with artisans and coffee growers from Costa Rica, blending the heritage of Mexico and Costa Rica — the nationalities of the founders.
