In every piece of pottery there is fire, earth, and time. High-temperature ceramics are born from this union: a technique that fires clays at over 1,200°C, transforming them into a strong, vitrified material full of life.

At Choza, we collaborate with the Arvi workshop (Arte Viva), exploring this technique through experimentation: we work with oxides and glazes seeking unique results in color, texture, and form. Each object is a one-of-a-kind piece: functional, but also poetic. Each piece is born from clay, a living material that holds the memory of mountains, rivers, and ancient hands.

Today, many of the mines from which our clay originates are in danger of disappearing, eroded by overexploitation and the accelerated pace of industry. Faced with this, we choose to return to our roots: creating with respect, using conscious and low-impact practices that honor natural rhythms and give back to the earth some of what it gives us.

Our pieces are formed slowly, with patience, silence, and fire. Each curve, each imprint, speaks of the dialogue between the artisan and the clay. There is no rush: only the rhythm of drying, the transformation brought about by heat, and the alchemy that occurs when the elements meet.

The step that moves us most is glazing: a moment of magic and science where the oxides melt, react, and give color according to their own chemistry. No two pieces are alike. Each one holds a mystery, a subtle variation that makes it unique. Inspired by the shapes and tones of nature, our ceramics seek to reconnect the everyday with the essential. We want you to remember, when using them, the joy of simple gestures: serving, sharing, contemplating.

At Choza, we celebrate imperfections as traces of life, because in every crack, in every distinct tone, resides the beauty of reality.
