ARTISAN SHELTER
MADE IN MEXICO AND COSTA RICA

CUERNAVACA, MORELOS "From the Market to Your Hut"

Candle making in Mexico has deep roots: in ancient times, candles were more than just light; they were offerings, guides, and symbols of celebration. Today, that tradition lives on in the hands of those who continue to shape the wax with devotion and artistry.

At Choza, we collaborate with a candle maker from our Aroma 0616 family, who crafts each candle with natural soy wax, a sustainable and environmentally friendly option. In this way, the tradition is renewed without losing its essence: keeping the fire burning with awareness and beauty.

The "From the Market to Your Hut" collection is born from a love for the land and its native fruits. Each candle accurately reproduces fruits, vegetables, and emblematic foods of Mexico, molded from real pieces. The colors, textures, and shapes evoke the abundance of the Mexican countryside and the warmth of the homes where it is shared.

The process combines art, memory, and technique: molds are created directly from fresh food, capturing its natural contours and then bringing them to life in wax. The result is unique pieces that transform the everyday into a poetic gesture: a light that smells, that remembers, and that celebrates our land.
